How I Got My First 100 Blog Views

When I published my first blog post, I was excited but nervous. I had no idea if anyone would even read it. I hit the “publish” button and stared at the screen, refreshing my stats every few minutes. Nothing happened at first. Then one view came in. Then two. And slowly, over the next few days, that number reached 100. It may seem small to some people, but to me, it felt like a milestone—because that number meant someone, somewhere, was actually reading my words.

I didn’t have a big audience. I didn’t know much about SEO. But I had one thing—enthusiasm. I shared my blog on my personal social media, not in a spammy way, but with a short message about why I wrote it and what it meant to me. A few friends clicked, a couple shared, and one even left a comment. That little boost was all I needed to feel motivated.

I also found a couple of online communities where new bloggers support each other. I became active there—not just dropping my link, but actually reading other people’s blogs and giving real feedback. That helped me build genuine connections, and in return, a few kind readers visited my page out of curiosity or support.

I experimented with different headlines and images. I noticed when I used a catchy title that made people curious, more of them clicked. It wasn’t about clickbait—it was about giving people a reason to stop and say, “Hey, this looks interesting.”

Reaching my first 100 views taught me that it’s not about going viral. It’s about showing up, being real, and connecting with even a small number of readers. Those first 100 people gave me the confidence to keep going. And that’s how all big things start—with a small number and a big heart.
